Dental Benefits Adjudicator
Full Time (Temporary) – Up to 1 Year
Monday to Friday – 7 hours/day

Bigstone Health Commission in Edmonton, AB is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Dental Benefits Adjudicator to join our talented Health Team. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess and adjudicate dental benefit requests
- Act as an advocate for all BCN members of the health benefits program
- Work with the members and service providers in a pleasant and efficient manner
- Provide program information, advice, and assistance to members and service providers
- Maintain database and provider files
- Must be dependable and reliable
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and telephone etiquette
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Be extremely observant to detail and accuracy
Education and Experience:
- Dental Office Assistant Certificate/Training or equivalent is a requirement
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree and or equivalent training and combined experience
- Minimum 2 years work experience in an office/medical/ or dental setting
- Knowledgeable on the Non-Insured Health Benefits programs is an asset
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Standard First Aid with CPR
