Program Support Driver

Bigstone Community Wellness. is seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and dependable Program Support Driver to join our talented team. Duties and Responsibilities
· Transport clients to appointments at the Community Wellness Office, programs and outreach events in BCN Communities (Hosted by Community Wellness and BHC)
· Assisting BCW & BHC in transportation related services to mobile health services.
· Provide exceptional customer service to our clients.
· Must follow all transportation safety rules and regulations.
· Must clean vehicle daily and report any problems with vehicle as necessary.
· Must ensure the vehicle is always equipped with an emergency aid.
· Must take direction from Reception as to coordination of scheduled appointments.
· Filling out and handing in daily logbooks, inspection reports and trip sheets
· Assisting clients and Elders in and out of vehicle safely and securely
· Assisting clients and Elders with wheelchairs, strollers, etc.
· Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be organized and have good time management skills.
· Must be able to work independently, take initiative when necessary and be a team player.
· Confidentiality is strictly enforced.
Education and Experience:
· High School Education
· MUST HAVE – Valid Class 1, 2 or 4 Driver’s license.
· Able to speak and understand the Cree language is an asset.
· Standard First Aid/CPR (current)
· Must be willing to participate in professional development.
